South Carolina High School Basketball - Cape Fear Academy thwarts Trinity Collegiate
January 7, 2022: Darlington, SC 29532 The Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC) basketball knocked off the host Trinity Collegiate Titans (Darlington, SC), 46-29 in Friday's non-league test.
The Hurricanes (9-3) will now prepare for their test against John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC). The Saints go into the non-league test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, John Paul II Catholic went down by GRACE Christian (Raleigh, NC), 81-54, in a non-league test.
The Titans now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont Classical for a non-league test on Monday, January 10. Trinity Collegiate will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 95-57 non-league loss to Moravian Prep (Hudson, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 14-12.
