Washington, DC High School Basketball - Ron Brown trounces BASIS

December 8, 2023: Washington, DC 20019

The Ron Brown Monarchs (Washington, DC) basketball crushed the visiting BASIS Red Giants (Washington, DC), 83-43 in Friday's non-league test.

The Monarchs (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Lanham Christian (Lanham, MD). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Lanham Christian overwhelmed Westlake (Waldorf, MD), 64-47, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Red Giants clash with the Paul Public Charter International Pirates (Washington, DC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. BASIS will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 60-47 non-league win over Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering (Washington, DC).
