The West Columbus Vikings football team (Cerro Gordo, NC), was ripped 55-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC)

The Red Devils (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Bulldogs come into the Three Rivers 1A/2A challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Pauls was ripped by Whiteville (Whiteville, NC), 28-6, in a league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Columbus for a Three Rivers 1A/2A challenge on Friday, November 8. West Columbus will meet a Gators team coming off a 30-0 league loss to Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Gators record now stands at 1-9.
