Illinois High School Basketball - Joliet Central can't hold off Oswego
January 25, 2022: Joliet, IL 60432 The Oswego Panthers basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Joliet Central Steelmen to 50 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minooka for a SouthWest Prairie contest on Friday, January 28. Oswego will battle a Indians team coming off a 70-42 league win over Romeoville (Romeoville, IL). The Indians record now stands at 13-7.
The Steelmen (2-20) will now prepare for their contest against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Bengals come into the SouthWest Prairie contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Plainfield East was nudged by Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 63-49, in a league contest.
