The Howell Highlanders football team (Howell, MI), was tipped 28-23 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Canton Chiefs (Canton, MI)

The Chiefs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Novi (Novi, MI). The Wildcats come into the Kensington Lakes - West challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Novi nipped Hartland (Hartland, MI), 14-7, in a league challenge.

The Highlanders now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Salem for a Kensington Lakes - West challenge on Friday, September 8. Howell will meet a Rocks team coming off a 41-0 league loss to Brighton (Brighton, MI). The Rocks record now stands at 0-2.
