The Chase Trojans football team (Forest City, NC), was knocked off 24-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC)

The Mountaineers (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans come into the South Mountain Athletic 2A/3A challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Chase was knocked off by Rutherfordton-Spindale Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 26-7, in a league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kings Mountain for a South Mountain Athletic 2A/3A challenge on Friday, October 23. Chase will meet a Mountaineers team coming off a 35-12 league win over Rutherfordton-Spindale Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 7-2.
