Louisiana High School Football - Peabody topples Grant
October 30, 2009: Alexandria, LA 71302 The Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) football defeated the visiting Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA), 30-0 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Warhorses face the Tioga Indians (Tioga, LA) in a 4A District 4 game, on Friday, November 6. Peabody will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 40-19 league loss to Leesville (Leesville, LA).
The Cougars now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Alexandria for a 4A District 4 game on Friday, November 6. Grant will meet a Trojans team coming off a 29-6 non-league win over Minden (Minden, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-1.
