The Corvian Community School Cardinals basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was routed 89-47 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Cabarrus Charter Academy Huskies (Concord, NC)

The Huskies now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albemarle for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 12. Cabarrus Charter Academy will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 78-41 non-league win over Covenant Classical (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.

The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Central Academy of Technology and Arts (Monroe, NC). The Cougars come into the Rocky River 2A/3A battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Central Academy of Technology and Arts was routed by Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 79-57, in a league battle.
