Virginia High School Football - Franklin County succumbs to Lord Botetourt
October 29, 2021: Rocky Mount, VA 24151 The Lord Botetourt Cavaliers thwarted the host Franklin County Eagles football team by a count of 49-28 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Lord Botetourt upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Cavaliers host Staunton River (Moneta, VA) to encounter the Golden Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, November 5. The Golden Eagles go into the outing with a record of 4-4. Staunton River lost 42-0 in their recent non-league bout against Fleming (Roanoke, VA)
The Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings enter the Blue Ridge bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, Northside defeated Byrd (Vinton, VA), 27-0, in a league bout.
