The crowd at Thursday's league match between the River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) and the visiting United Lions (Armagh, PA), saw River Valley's softball squad nip United by a count of 9-6.

The Panthers now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richland for a non-league match on Monday, April 17. River Valley will face a Rams squad coming off a 12-8 league loss to Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA). The Rams record now stands at 5-3.
