February 17, 2024: Covington, KY 41015 The Calvary Christian Cougars (Covington, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Portland Christian Eagles (Louisville, KY), 73-57 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars (12-19) will now prepare for their test against St. Patrick (Maysville, KY). The Saints go into the non-league test with a 3-17 record.
The Eagles now own a 3-21 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a District 25 test on Wednesday, February 21. Portland Christian will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 87-45 non-league loss to Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-14.
