Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX) and the host Alief Elsik Rams (Houston, TX), saw Alief Taylor's basketball squad overcome Alief Elsik by a tally of 62-45.

With the victory, Alief Taylor improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Alvin (Alvin, TX) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 6A Region III District 23 challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 8-13. Alvin lost 74-18 in their recent league challenge against Dawson (Pearland, TX)

Next up, the Rams confront the Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Alief Elsik will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 54-21 league loss to Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX).
