Michigan High School Basketball - Davison knocked off by Carman-Ainsworth
February 1, 2022: Flint, MI 48532 The Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Davison Cardinals to 40 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bay City Western for a Saginaw Valley contest on Friday, February 4. Carman-Ainsworth will battle a Warriors team coming off a 49-29 league win over Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 7-7.
The Cardinals (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Powers Catholic (Flint, MI). The Chargers enter the Saginaw Valley contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Powers Catholic was defeated by Central (Bay City, MI), 50-48, in a league contest.
