Maryland High School Basketball - Chopticon overwhelms Potomac

December 5, 2023: Morganza, MD 20660

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) and the visiting Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD), saw Chopticon's basketball squad wallop Potomac by a tally of 79-53.

With the victory, Chopticon improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Braves host King's Christian Academy (Callaway, MD) to confront the in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Wolverines confront the Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Potomac will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 85-70 non-league loss to Flowers (Springdale, MD).
