New Jersey High School Softball - Liberty bounces St. Rose
April 19, 2024: Jackson, NJ 08527 The Liberty Lions routed the visiting St. Rose Purple Roses softball squad by a count of 18-10 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Lions (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ). The Griffins go into the Shore - B South battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Donovan Catholic topped Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), 17-0, in a league battle.
The Purple Roses now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Long Branch for a Shore - B Central battle on Saturday, April 20. St. Rose will meet a Green Wave squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Keyport (Keyport, NJ). The Green Wave record now stands at 0-4.
