The Benedictine Cadets (Savannah, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), 72-46 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cadets (12-6) will now prepare for their test against New Hampstead (Savannah, GA). The Phoenix go into the AAAA Region 3 test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, New Hampstead walloped Jenkins (Savannah, GA), 56-43, in a league test.

The Sharks now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Jenkins for a AAAA Region 3 test on Friday, February 11. Islands will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 60-58 non-league loss to Bryan County (Pembroke, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-10.
