Ohio High School Basketball - Springfield crushes Field

December 2, 2022: Mogadore, OH 44260

Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Field Falcons (Mogadore, OH), 69-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Springfield upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Spartans host Cuyahoga Falls (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) to play the Black Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Black Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Cuyahoga Falls lost 64-40 in their recent non-league bout against Stow-Munroe Falls (Stow, OH)

Next up, the Falcons play the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Kent, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Field will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Rough Riders go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 32-29 non-league win over Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH).
