The First Flight Nighthawks baseball team (Kill Devil Hills, NC), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA)

The Grizzlies now hold a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oscar Smith for a Southeastern outing on Tuesday, April 30. Grassfield will confront a Tigers team coming off a 17-1 league win over King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-10.

Next, the Nighthawks confront the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A outing, on Tuesday, April 30. First Flight will attempt to advance on its 14-5 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 17-4 record after their 17-0 league win over Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC).
