New Mexico High School Basketball - Wagon Mound thwarts San Jon
January 26, 2023: Wagon Mound, NM 87752 The Wagon Mound Trojans (Wagon Mound, NM) basketball knocked off the visiting San Jon Coyotes (San Jon, NM), 39-24 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Trojans (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Demons go into the A District 5 test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Des Moines notched a victory over Maxwell (Maxwell, NM), 47-46, in a league test.
The Coyotes now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Corona/Vaughn for a non-league test on Saturday, February 11.
