January 10, 2023: Momence, IL 60954 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Momence Momence Athletics (Momence, IL) and the visiting Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers (Gardner, IL), saw Momence's basketball squad overcome Gardner-South Wilmington by a tally of 62-54.
With the victory, Momence improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Momence Athletics travel to Beecher (Beecher, IL) to play the Bobcats in a River Valley challenge on Friday, January 13. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 18-1. Beecher won 72-35 in their recent league challenge against Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL)
Next up, the Panthers play the Tri-Point Chargers (Cullom, IL) in a River Valley challenge, on Friday, January 13. Gardner-South Wilmington will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 0-16 record after their 64-27 league loss to Grant Park (Grant Park, IL).
