Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sunny Hills Lancers (Fullerton, CA) and the host Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV), saw Sunny Hills's basketball squad overcome Spanish Springs by a tally of 49-39.

With the victory, Sunny Hills improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Ventura (Ventura, CA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Ventura won 68-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Basha (Chandler, AZ)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a 4A Northern challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Spanish Springs will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record.
