The River Valley football squad scored 43 points and restricted the visiting Purchase Line Red Dragons to 18 in the league victory on Friday.

The now possess a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Homer-Center for a Heritage battle on Friday, October 8. River Valley will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 51-20 league win over Penns Manor (Clymer, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-1.

Coming up next, the Red Dragons play the Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 8. Purchase Line will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Golden Tide enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA).
