The Wellsboro Hornets football team (Wellsboro, PA), was knocked off 41-19 in Friday's league challenge with the host Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA)

The Black Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Athens (Athens, PA). The Wildcats come into the PIAA District IV challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Athens was knocked off by Troy (Troy, PA), 32-7, in a league challenge.
