Connecticut High School Softball - Hand bounces Branford
May 18, 2022: Branford, CT 06405 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Hand Tigers (Madison, CT) and the host Branford Hornets (Branford, CT), witnessed Hand's softball squad prevail over Branford by a count of 18-4.
The Tigers now sport a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Norwich Free Academy for a non-league match on Thursday, May 19. Hand will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-7.
With the loss, Branford moves to 4-15 on the season. The Hornets travel to Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Thursday, May 19. The Trojans go into the match with a record of 2-17. Lyman Hall lost 15-3 in their recent non-league match against West Haven (West Haven, CT)
