The Central Texas Christian Lions (Temple, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Sterling Classical Soldiers (Leander, TX), 40-30 in Friday's non-league test.

The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Florence (Florence, TX). The Buffaloes go into the non-league test with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Florence notched a victory over Holland (Holland, TX), 50-49, in a non-league test.

The Soldiers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Faith Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 7.
