California High School Basketball - Weston Ranch thwarts Sacramento

The Weston Ranch Cougars (Stockton, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Sacramento Dragons (Sacramento, CA), 81-68 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Stagg (Stockton, CA). The Delta Kings go into the San Joaquin Athletic Association test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Stagg went down by Edison (Stockton, CA), 69-28, in a league test.

The Dragons now own a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Del Campo for a Capital Athletic League test on Tuesday, January 10. Sacramento will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 53-35 non-league loss to Manteca (Manteca, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-8.
