The Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) basketball nipped the visiting Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), 47-44 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Vikings (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Cibola got by Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 47-42, in a non-league test.
