December 18, 2014: La Jolla, CA 92093 The Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA) soccer nipped the host Preuss UCSD Tritons (La Jolla, CA), 1-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Clairemont moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Chieftains host Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA) to confront the Mariners in a non-league bout on Monday, January 5. The Mariners enter the bout with a record of 4-4.
In their next game, the Tritons confront the High Tech CV Bruins (Chula Vista, CA) in a Frontier bout, on Tuesday, January 6. Preuss UCSD will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Bruins enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA).
