October 1, 2016: Belmont, NH 03220 The Belmont-Gilford Red Raiders football team (Belmont, NH), was beaten 35-6 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Hanover Marauders (Hanover, NH)
The Marauders (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sanborn Regional (Kingston, NH). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Sanborn Regional achieved victory over Pelham (Pelham, NH), 7-6, in a league challenge.
The Red Raiders now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plymouth for a Division II - North challenge on Saturday, October 8. Belmont-Gilford will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 43-8 league win over Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-0.
