Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Mother McAuley Mighty Macs (Chicago, IL) and the host Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL), witnessed Mother McAuley's softball squad tip Lyons by a count of 5-1.

The Mighty Macs now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Marist for a non-league match on Monday, April 10. Mother McAuley will face a RedHawks squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL). The RedHawks record now stands at 9-1.
