With the win, Skowhegan moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The River Hawks travel to Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME) to battle the Eagles in a Class A - North bout on Saturday, September 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Mt. Ararat won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Brewer (Brewer, ME)
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Waterville Panthers (Waterville, ME) in a Class B - North bout, on Thursday, September 7. Lawrence will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Mount View (Thorndike, ME).
