The Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO) basketball nipped the visiting Mitchell Marauders (Colorado Springs, CO), 67-61 in Thursday's league test.

The Cardinals (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Widefield (Colorado Springs, CO). The Gladiators go into the non-league test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Widefield was tipped by Palmer (Colorado Springs, CO), 75-56, in a league test.
