Georgia High School Softball - Heard County bounces Commerce
September 10, 2021: Franklin, GA 30217 Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA), 8-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Braves now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaGrange for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 10. Heard County will battle a Grangers squad coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Grangers record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Commerce falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Central (Carrollton, GA) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 11. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 14-0. Central won 20-0 in their recent league challenge against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA)
