North Carolina High School Basketball - Hough nudges West Cabarrus

February 8, 2022: Concord, NC 28027

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) basketball squad edged the host West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC), by a count of 61-55.

The Huskies (6-16) will now prepare for their outing against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Titans go into the 3A/4A Conference 60 outing with a 10-13 record. In their last outing, Hopewell was tipped by North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC), 93-34, in a league outing.

The Wolverines now hold a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Norman for a 4A Conference 57 outing on Wednesday, February 9. West Cabarrus will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 78-59 league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-9.
