The Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) softball nipped the host Sobrato Bulldogs (Morgan Hill, CA), 4-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Longhorns (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Aragon (San Mateo, CA). The Dons go into the non-league bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Aragon was edged by Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA), 11-6, in a non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Leland for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 17. Sobrato will confront a Chargers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 4-3.
