Illinois High School Basketball - MacArthur knocked off by Rochester

January 27, 2023: Rochester, IL 62563

The Rochester Rockets basketball squad scored 45 points and limited the visiting MacArthur Generals to 27 in the Rockets league win on Friday.

With the win, Rochester upgrades its record to 22-6 on the season. The Rockets host Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL) to play the Panthers in a Central State Eight bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-18. Decatur Eisenhower lost 45-41 in their recent league bout against Normal University (Normal, IL)

Next up, the Generals play the Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL) in a Central State Eight bout, on Tuesday, January 31. MacArthur will attempt to upgrade on its 11-15 season record. The Crimsons go into the bout with a 8-20 record after their 49-48 league loss to Glenwood (Chatham, IL).
