September 9, 2022: West Branch, IA 52358 The Maquoketa Valley Wildcats football team (Delhi, IA), was ripped 59-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host West Branch Bears (West Branch, IA)
The Bears (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA). The Falcons come into the 1A District 5 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Louisa-Muscatine was ripped by Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA), 70-22, in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bellevue for a A District 4 challenge on Friday, September 16. Maquoketa Valley will meet a Comets team coming off a 48-13 league loss to North Linn (Troy Mills, IA). The Comets record now stands at 1-2.
