Virginia High School Basketball - King's Fork fells Deep Creek
February 4, 2011: Suffolk, VA 23434 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) and the visiting Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA), saw King's Fork's basketball squad overcome Deep Creek by a count of 50-38.
With the victory, King's Fork upgrades its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a AAA Southeastern challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 4-15. Lakeland lost 55-48 in their recent league challenge against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA)
Next up, the Hornets play the Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) in a AAA Southeastern challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Deep Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 73-29 league win over Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA).
