Minnesota High School Basketball - Minnetonka holds off North
January 11, 2011: North St. Paul, MN 55109 Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host North Polars (North St. Paul, MN), 59-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Minnetonka upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Skippers travel to Blaine (Blaine, MN) to play the Bengals in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 13. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Blaine won 62-46 in their recent league bout against Anoka (Anoka, MN)
Next up, the Polars play the Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN) in a Classic Suburban bout, on Friday, January 14. North will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 48-46 league loss to Sibley (Mendota Heights, MN).
