January 14, 2011: Roanoke, VA 24017 In Friday's non-league outing, the Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA), by a count of 66-33.
The Colonels (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Liberty Christian was crushed by St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA), 71-61, in a non-league outing.
The Vikings now hold a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they host Hidden Valley for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 15. Northside will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 70-57 league loss to Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Titans record now stands at 6-4.
