Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mountain View Yellowjackets (Mountain View, AR) and the host Clinton Yellowjackets (Clinton, AR), saw Mountain View's basketball squad hold off Clinton by a count of 60-57.

With the victory, Mountain View upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Mammoth Spring (Mammoth Spring, AR) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 15. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Mammoth Spring won 45-25 in their recent league challenge against Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Greenbrier Panthers (Greenbrier, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 16. Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
