Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Encina Prep Bulldogs (Sacramento, CA) and the host Rio Vista Rams (Rio Vista, CA), saw Encina Prep's basketball squad knock off Rio Vista by a score of 56-37.

With the victory, Encina Prep improves its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA) to battle the Pride in a Sierra Delta challenge on Tuesday, January 18. The Pride come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Bradshaw Christian won 75-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Livingston (Livingston, CA)

Next up, the Rams battle the Vacaville Christian Falcons (Vacaville, CA) in a Sierra Delta challenge, on Wednesday, January 19. Rio Vista will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 68-17 league win over Highlands (North Highlands, CA).
