Whitwell Tigers (Whitwell, TN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Eagles (North, SC), 55-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Whitwell upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league bout on Sunday, December 19. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-2. McDonogh won 49-37 in their recent non-league bout against Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC)

Next up, the Eagles encounter the Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 20. North will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Colonels go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 46-38 non-league loss to Wren (Piedmont, SC).
