Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Rich East Rockets (Park Forest, IL) and the host Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL), saw Rich East's basketball squad hold off Thornwood by a score of 45-41.

With the victory, Rich East improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Metamora (Metamora, IL) to battle the Redbirds in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 26. The Redbirds come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Metamora won 58-47 in their recent non-league outing against Alleman (Rock Island, IL)

The Thunderbirds now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Crete-Monee for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 4.
