The Monarch Coyotes held off the visiting Ralston Valley Mustangs soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league match.

The Coyotes now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Fossil Ridge for a 5A Front Range match on Tuesday, April 23. Monarch will encounter a Sabercats squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Greeley West (Greeley, CO). The Sabercats record now stands at 6-2.
