The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Florence Huskies (Florence, CO), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Coursers confront the Lamar Savages (Lamar, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 27. The Vanguard School will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record.

The Huskies now have a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they host Colorado Springs Christian for a 3A Tri Peaks West challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Florence will confront a Lions team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Manitou Springs (Manitou Springs, CO). The Lions record now stands at 6-6.
