Alabama High School Soccer - Grissom nudges Carolina Forest
March 30, 2019: Huntsville, AL 35802 Grissom Tigers (Huntsville, AL) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Carolina Forest Panthers (Myrtle Beach, SC), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 3. Grissom will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record. The Bucks enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Hartselle (Hartselle, AL).
The Panthers now have a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Florence for a AAAAA Region VI challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Carolina Forest will confront a Knights team coming off a 6-0 league win over St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC). The Knights record now stands at 7-6.
