Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Galena Park Yellowjackets (Galena Park, TX) and the visiting Houston Tigers (Houston, TX), saw Galena Park's basketball squad hold off Houston by a score of 55-52.

With the victory, Galena Park improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host North Forest (Houston, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A Region III District 19 challenge on Tuesday, January 6. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 7-11.
