Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) and the visiting Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ), saw McClintock's basketball squad knock off Chaparral by a score of 75-57.

With the victory, McClintock improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ) to battle the Falcons in a 4A Desert Sky challenge on Friday, January 30. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 12-10. Cactus Shadows won 68-54 in their recent league challenge against Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ)

Next up, the Firebirds battle the Shadow Mountain Matadors (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky test, on Friday, January 30. Chaparral will attempt to advance on its 16-7 season record. The Matadors go into the test with a 14-6 record after their 71-53 non-league win over Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ).
