North Carolina High School Basketball - Cannon crushes Northwood Academy
December 21, 2008: Concord, NC 28027 Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northwood Academy Chargers (Charleston, SC), 79-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cannon upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC) to play the Cyclones in a non-league bout on Monday, December 22. The Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Porter-Gaud won 71-60 in their recent non-league bout against Hanahan (Hanahan, SC)
Next up, the Chargers play the Hanahan Hawks (Hanahan, SC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 22. Northwood Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 71-60 non-league loss to Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC).
